CAMP INFORMATION
What is WMWC?
Located in Mason, Ohio (Southwestern Ohio), at the West Mason church of Christ building (information here) and close event/food locations, West Mason Weekend Camp will take place from June 20-22, 2025 (Fri-Sun). All teenagers are welcome (yes, even you college kids)! This retreat is designed for teenagers to be able to commune together and grow their relationships with the Lord, as well as with each other. Throughout the weekend, there will be numerous Bible studies on relevant topics, singings of praise to the Lord, and activities built to grow relationships between the teenagers and encourage the growth edifying friendships. We will ensure that after the weekend, each teenager leaves 1) closer to God and more knowledgeable in His word 2) encouraged by the like-minded crowd surrounding them with Biblical standards and actions (language, treatment of others, etc.) 3) more prepared to take on the everyday tasks that come with being a follower of Jesus in the world. This will be accomplished by the study series on being "Seen by God" by Scott, Tyler, Albert, and Jacob (scroll down). We would love to see whoever is able to register using the register page and be a part of West Mason Weekend Camp 2025!
Information for those registered will be emailed to the provided address.

DIRECTOR/TEACHER
SCOTT TAYLOR
Scott Taylor has been the preacher at West Mason since 2004. Before that, he preached at the Mill Road church of Christ in Cincinnati starting in 1999. He and his family continue to teach our congregation from God's word.

DIRECTOR/TEACHER
TYLER HALL
Hey everyone, this is Tyler Hall and I'm excited to welcome you to West Mason Weekend Camp! I've been preacher at the West Mason church of Christ since 2017. I was a counselor last year at Florida College Ohio Camp 2022, and I've been at other youth events in the area--so I'm excited to continue encouraging youth at our own event like this!

DIRECTOR
NOLAN TAYLOR
Hey all, I am Nolan Taylor! As a teenager myself, I strive to ensure that WMWC is best fit for all who attend! I have been working with West Mason on this retreat since 2022, and I look forward to our third year of WMWC!

DIRECTOR/TEACHER
JACOB TAYLOR
Hey everyone! My name is Jacob Taylor and I’m excited to be back for West Mason Weekend Camp, and to be with you all! I have been preaching full-time for about a year and a half now at Northern Kentucky church of Christ, after interning at West Mason! I’m looking forward to this weekend as I have the past two years of this awesome camp. It’s a great opportunity to study God’s word together and make lifelong friendships rooted in Christ! I hope to be of any help that I can be in helping others get to heaven and would love the same in return!

TEACHER
ALBERT DICKSON
As a preacher of the gospel, along with other members, I teach classes, preach sermons, and work publicly and privately to help bring the hearts of people to the Lord and His truth. I strive to treat others with the kindness and respect that I would like them to show me.

FOOD ORGANIZATION DIRECTOR
KAREN CARTER
My name is Karen Carter, and I became a member of the West Mason Family in August 2020- right in the middle of Covid! I came from Chicago. My friends there often asked why I was moving. I responded, " as long as I find a good church home I don’t need anything else." Indeed, I did! Our goal at West Mason is to make sure we all get to Heaven. Thanks for coming this weekend!

We are simply a group of Christians that serve God as He has authorized and commanded us within His Word. Each of us was once lost, hopelessly trapped in spiritual death due to our sins; but praise be to God, who saves us by His grace through His perfect plan of redemption:
-
Hear God's word (Romans 10:17)
-
Believe in His gospel (John 3:16)
-
Confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God (1 John 2:23)
-
Repent of the sinful ways that separate us from God (Acts 3:19)
-
Be baptized for the remission of our sins (Acts 2:38)
-
Live faithfully (Revelation 2:10)
We are not a denomination and have only one document guiding our direction and beliefs: the Bible.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and His complete revelation to man. Within it are His plans for us and how He desires us to live and serve Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Galatians 1:8-9).
Our spiritual family strives to serve and love each other and the world around us like our Savior. Everything we do is meant to glorify God and help one another get to heaven, so we may praise His high and holy name for eternity in His presence!
What You Can Expect
Our worship services look much like the worship you read about in the New Testament--and that's intentional! We participate in these acts of worship as found in God's word:
-
Congregational singing: “…teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16).
-
Prayers offered up to God: “always offering prayer for you in my joy” (Philippians 1:4).
-
On the first day of every week, we partake of the Lord’s Supper to remember His death: “Now on the first day of the week when the disciples came together to break bread” (Acts 20:7).
-
Teaching from God's word with Scripture reading and a lesson: "...they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so" (Acts 17:11).
